Sales rep lied and tricked me to sign up for service - 30 day satisfaction guarantee
It has been a week into signing up for Dish Network . I was told on the phone I had a 30 day risk free trial period and I could cancel without any changes within the 30 day grace period. I was also told to call back and they would "bundle" price Internet service for me for an additional 19.99. I was told to sign a tiny computerized box after installation. I already had several "black outs" and interrupted service. When I called back to add Internet for 19.99, they told me it is unavailable in my area for that price and I could only get verizon fios for an additional 69.99 plus equipment rental fees and other charges. I also told them I plan on moving to Flinton PA in a year.... In which they said my service could be moved and if not, they would let me out of contract without penalty. This was also a lie. I found out when I tried to return the equipment and cancel today that I cannot get out of my contract and there is no 30 Day trial period. They kept transferring me on the phone. They transferred me to who they said is Edward Muro, the CEO of Dish network and he said there is nothing he could do, however he could give me the number of a dispute department. Come on, if you are the CEO of the company and there is nothing you can do about it except for transfer me to someone who works for you that can do nothing except what the CEO says???? WTH???? That doesn't even make sense??? I called today and they said they will put another dispute into the system but it will take up to 10 days to go into their system. I asked if I can return the equipment to the local Pittsburgh office and they said no.... Not until my dispute is resolved. I think they are just trying to stretch it out past the 30 day fake grace period they promised me. I recorded all of their conversations and informed them of it after they were done with their bullshit stories and lies and transfers in case I need to take this matter to court. I would never recommend Dish Network to anyone and I am 100% unsatisfied with the service.
