Refer a Friend - Customer service


I signed up for Dish the end of Jan. My friend referred me. I went to the refer a friend site and so did she. I signed up on this site, but also called to make sure everything went as it should. They person I chatted with said I should call the next day to follow up , which I did. that person said I should make sure the tech got the numbers I was e-mailed, so I would get my $50.00 credit, which I did. Now it is March and I have yet to receive the credit and neither has the friend who referred me. Talked to two more customer service people last night. was told I didn't use the numbers when I signed up and wasn't eligible for the Credit. I* have jumped though hoops for this $50.00, did everything they told me to do, still getting nowhere. It is not so much the money, I just don't like being promised something and then told no. Also less than a week after signing the contract my bill went up $5.00 a month. Not Happy with Dish their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Hi Billy,

The refer a friend promotion, or "ClubDISH" as the promotional name, does require set up at the time of the sales call. The sales person would have to use a different offer code to open the account and the certificate number would've had to been provided at the time of set up. If you would like to email me I can see if there is anyway we can get the certificate tied to the account. I can't make any guarantees but would like to try for you.
